Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and SKENE ("we", "us") for the Royal Gallery game (the "game"). By downloading or playing the game, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

1. Your license to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the game on devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, within the rules of the store you got it from. The game is licensed to you, not sold.

2. Coins and progress

Coins and stars, whether earned or received with a purchase, give you a limited license to use them in the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be sold or transferred. We may change how coins and hints work as we balance the game.

Your progress and coins are saved only on your device. If you delete the game or lose your device, your progress and coins may be lost. A remove-ads purchase stays with the store, and "구매 복원" (Restore purchases) gets it back.

3. Ads

The game is free and paid for by ads. It shows banner, interstitial and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads play only when you choose them, and you get the reward shown once the ad has played. If no ad can load, no reward is given. Advertisers and ad networks decide what ads say, and we do not vouch for them.

4. Purchases and refunds

You can buy remove-ads if you want. It turns off banners and interstitials, and rewarded ads stay available when you want them. The price and what you get are shown before you buy. The store you bought from sells and processes the purchase under its own terms, and refunds follow its policy. In Korea, you may cancel a purchase within 7 days under Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce; ask the store or email us at royalgallery@skene.ws. Cancellation may be limited where the law allows it, for example if you have already spent coins that came with the purchase. If a purchase is refunded or canceled, we may remove what it gave. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.

5. Rules of play

Please don't copy, modify or reverse engineer the game except where the law allows it, cheat or use tools to change the game or its ad rewards, click or watch ads fraudulently or automatically, or use the game for anything illegal. If you find a bug, please tell us at royalgallery@skene.ws.

6. Ownership

The game, including its art, characters, story, music, sounds, text and code, belongs to SKENE or its licensors. Open-source software and fonts in the game are used under their own licenses.

7. Changes to the game

We keep changing the game. We may add, change or remove paintings, features, offers, prices and how often ads appear, test changes with different players, and update or stop offering the game. We will try to give notice of big changes.

8. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress or coins. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

10. App stores

These terms are between you and us, not the store you got the game from. Apple and Google are not responsible for the game or its content, have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and are not responsible for claims about it, such as product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims; we handle those. If the game fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify the store, which may refund the purchase price. You must follow any third-party terms that apply, such as your wireless data agreement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of restricted parties.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop at any time by deleting the game. If you seriously break these terms, your license to use the game ends.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under Korea's Civil Procedure Act. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and give notice in the game or on this page at least 7 days before the changes take effect, or 30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to you. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.
